Water getting into the ears of an adult shouldn't be a big deal, unless one has a hole in the screen. If there is a hole, water can get into the ear and cause problems. However, we must be careful to prevent water from entering the child's ears.

While bathing the child, put a piece of cotton with vaseline or mustard oil and rub it in the ear. Still, if the water enters the child's ears, then the following methods can be adopted.

1. Tilt your head towards the ear that has water in it. Then place the palm on the ear and press. Remove the hand with pressure. In this way, some water will come out. Do this several times.

2. Wet a towel in hot water and hold it on the ear. Then lay the baby on the side where the water has entered.

3. Apply two to three drops of olive oil to the area where the water seeped in and keep it for 10 minutes. Keep the baby tilted towards the ear where the water has entered, the water will drain out.

4. If the child can follow or understand what you are saying, ask him to take a long breath and pinch his nose with his finger. Then ask them to breathe out through the nose instead of through the mouth. Do not quit loudly, ask to quit naturally. After some time you will hear normal sound in the ear.

5. If you have a hair dryer at home, set it on low heat and keep it 10-12 inches away from your ears. Hold for a while. The water will dry up.

If the water does not come out after doing all this, if the child feels uncomfortable or if the ear feels heavy or painful, then you must seek the help of a doctor.
